The Christmas Cottage Screencaptures + Review

As most of you know, Jared’s movie The Christmas Cottage was released on dvd this past Tuesday. Now I’ve really never tried my hand at doing any sort of review but, this is a really good movie and Jared’s acting really shines. This is truly the kind of movie you sit down with the family to enjoy, the story is very heartfelt and sweet which is what every Christmas movie should be. I did think bits and pieces were a little out of place or rushed and after watching the deleted scenes I really felt that those scenes should not have been taken out because they would have truly helped fill in the few blank spaces I had during the movie but, all in all the movie’s main objective gets across loud and clear. As a Jared fan, this movie is truly something worth having in your collection.

With that aside, I’ve added 1,000+ High Quality screencaptures from the dvd, including the special features into the gallery and as always zipped downloads have been added as well for you to enjoy!

More Gilmore Girls promos + The Christmas Cottage Stills

The Christmas Cottage DVD Press Release

Returning home from college one Christmas, young artist Thomas Kinkade (Padalecki) is dismayed to learn that attempts to promote local tourism have failed and his mother (Gay Harden) is dangerously close to losing the family cottage to foreclosure. Inspired by his mentor, Glen (O’Toole), a famous artist who lives next door, Thom accepts a job painting a mural of his small, idyllic hometown. With Glen’s help, Thom not only discovers his calling as the Painter of Light™ but also helps the town rediscover the true spirit of Christmas in this nostalgic, humorous and heartwarming true story destined to become a holiday classic.

The DVD is packaged in a foil O-card with embossing and includes audio commentary with the Director, Michael Campus, and Thomas Kinkade, deleted scenes, and three featurettes. An uplifting story for the whole family, Thomas Kinkade’s Christmas Cottage will be available on November 11, 2008, just in time for the holidays!

The Christmas Cottage Trailer + New Stills

The official website for The Christmas Cottage has been updated with a few little treats. Along with a video of the real Thomas Kinkade speaking about the movie you’ll find a trailer for the movie along with a few new movie stills. I’ve added the stills along with screencaptures from the trailer into the gallery, a download for the trailer has also been added to iJared for you guys to enjoy.
