As of October 14, Supernatural fans have donated:
PETA: $871
HSUS: $765
Doctors Without Borders: $837
St. Jude Children’s Hospital: $847
The name of every person who participates in this fundraiser will be included on certificates that will be presented to Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki at Creation Entertainment’s Salute to Supernatural in Rosemont, IL in November. The campaign continues until November 1st.
“We could not be more thankful or more overwhelmed with the response of Supernatural fans,” said Heather Vitas, co-founding member of www.SupportSupernatural.com.

Beginning on Friday, September 12 through Friday, October 17 fans can vote for their favorites, by visiting scream.spike.com. The show aira on Spike TV Tuesday, October 21 @ 9pm.

Help the Animals – Donate on Behalf of Jared, Harley and Sadie Posted on: August 26th, 2008 at 6:03 pm ∙ Written by: Ang
–The founders of SupportSupernatural.com have a small mission on behalf of animals everywhere! Heather Vitas and Lindsay Warren hope to collect money for The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) and People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) – on behalf of Supernatural’s Jared Padalecki and his two dogs, Harley and Sadie!
Vitas and Warren have a goal of raising at least $500 for each organization. If they reach the goal, they will present Padalecki with a certificate announcing how much money Supernatural fans collected for The HSUS and PETA! They will present the certificate to
him at Creation Entertainment’s Salute to Supernatural this November in Rosemont, IL.
“It breaks my heart to read all the stories about these poor abused and neglected animals in the world. It’s nice to know there are organizations like The Humane Society and PETA who are being the voice and advocate for these critters,” said Heather Vitas of SupportSupernatural.com.

7. A Perfect Gentleman: Jared Padalecki
Born: July 19, 1982
What draws you to Jared Padalecki is that you know that he can be the sweet, sensitive, and perfect boyfriend (think Dean Forrester on ”Gilmore Girls”) but know that he has a backbone and can fight for what he believes in (think Sam on “Supernatural”). And even when he is a jerk (think Cheaper by the Dozen), we still can’t help but love him anyway. Sure these may be the characters he’s played and Jared is a separate person to them, but in real life Jared is just as lovable as his characters (his nice guy persona he attributes to hailing from Texas and thus the land of the perfect Southern gentleman) and girls are still in love with him.
What’s Next: The demon hunting continues into its 4th season when ”Supernatural” returns to the CW on September 18. Jared is also in the films Home for Christmas – due out later this year, and the Friday 13th remake alongside Ryan Hansen (”Veronica Mars”), which is set for release next February.
