RedBull Soapbox Derby Candids

Yesterday in Vancouver, RedBull held their very first Canadian soapbox derby. Part of the event pitted the Supernatural partners in crime Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki against each other in a charity race, the winner recieving $1,000 dollars to donate to a charity of their choice. Mr. Padalecki smoked the competition and won the race, with Jensen not far behind. Jared donated his $1,000 prize to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital and Jensen donated his $500 to Doctors Without Borders.

Tracy Morgan & Jared Padalecki do karaoke

We’d like to send a huge thanks to Sarlev_Vanisa & soydolcelatte for stumbling across this and allowing us to post it on the site.
I was in California in June of 2005 and went to Saddle Ranch at Universal City to celebrate my friend Heather’s birthday. It was karaoke night, so we wandered over and noticed some familiar faces on stage. It was Tracy Morgan of SNL and 30 Rock and Jared Padalecki of Gilmore Girls and Supernatural. Well, Heather recognized Jared…I don’t watch either of those shows, but I did see him later in House of Wax. Anyway, they were on stage singing with a big group, and most of them were pretty tipsy, but they were really nice and we hung out with them for a bit. They were really funny on stage…not the most talented singers, but definitely having an awesome time!
