Supernatural co-stars Jared Padalecki and Genevieve Cortese exchanged vows in Idaho on Saturday, February 27th. The couple married in an intimate ceremony in the bride’s hometown of Sun Valley. Padalecki’s brother, Jeffrey, served as best man, while his onscreen br other Jensen Ackles was one of his groomsmen.

The newlyweds said, Our wedding party consists of friends and family that have watched us grow up and watched us grow in our relationship. We thank all of you for being a part of us and cannot wait to grow with you in our lives together.

Freshman Hit “The Vampire Diaries,” “Gossip Girl,” “90210,” “Supernatural” and “America’s Next Top Model” To Return Next Season

The CW Network has given early pickups to five series for next season, including four signature dramas and the reality hit AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL. All five shows will return in Fall 2010.

The series receiving early renewals include this season’s breakout hit THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, The CW’s most-watched show (4.6 million viewers) and the network’s number one show among adults 18-34 (2.5/8). THE VAMPIRE DIARIES premiere generated the largest audience in network history for a series debut (5.7 million total viewers). THE VAMPIRE DIARIES has improved The CW’s performance Thursday at 8:00 p.m. by 114% among women 18-34 this season.

The network also renewed fan favorite SUPERNATURAL, which will enter its sixth season next year. SUPERNATURAL has one of the most loyal audiences of any show on television and does heroic work in a perennially tough time period. It has improved over last season among women and adults 18-34 (29% and 8%, respectively) this season, a remarkable accomplishment for a fifth-year show.

As we roll into the end of the fifth season, Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles took time out to talk with Supernatural Magazine about the enormity of it all. Here’s an excerpt from the Issue 14 interview which is on newstands now.

For nine months of the year, Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles are possessed by supernatural entities. It’s like demons – or angels – have taken over their bodies and they are powerless to do anything but watch their days unfold through someone else’s eyes while they speak someone else’s thoughts and live someone else’s lives. Of course, those entities are just the fictional characters they play for their TV show, but when they’re Sam and Dean Winchester for “sixteen hours a day, five days a week – it’s like being in a different world,” Padalecki related. “I’m Sam Winchester more often than I’m Jared Padalecki!”

When Jared and Jensen are working those kinds of hours in the mindset of brothers who are trying to stop the apocalypse while dealing with their dysfunctional relationship and coping with the fact that the blood of all humankind could be on their hands due to the roles they played in freeing Lucifer, the enormity of it all can be rather “exhausting,” Ackles confirmed. “It’s been an exhausting season so far.”

Supernatural star Jared Padalecki is the third actor in the running to star in the remake of Conan The Barbarian, sources tell JustJared.com.

It was reported earlier this week that Kellan Lutz (Twilight) and Jason Momoa (Stargate: Atlantis, Baywatch) are the two others in competition for the role.

Conan is set to start production on March 15 in Bulgaria but as previously reported that Padalecki’s schedule might be causing a little bit of trouble — he plans on tying the knot with fiancee Genevieve Cortese this spring in Sun Valley, Idaho.

Directing Conan is Marcus Nispel, who worked with Jared on the 2009 horror flick Friday the 13th.

It’s come to my attention that there is someone/someones posing as Jared & Jensen on Twitter and they have alot of people fooled, so take warning. Thanks to Becky for allowing me to post a message she received from Clif (J&J’s bodyguard) earlier today.

“There is someone out there posing as both J and J on twitter. We need to let everyone know it is not the boys. Please spread the word that the guys don’t give life lessons nor do they met people for lunch, as a fan found out. This comes from J and J.”

Becky also mentioned that a fan actually had a lunch date with Jensen she thought, but it was actually “a 40ish creepy dude saying he represented Jensen.”

Once again, Jared does NOT have a Twitter, Facebook, Myspace or any other social networking account. The same goes for Jared’s Supernatural co-star Jensen Ackles. You’ve got to be careful guys. If Jared does ever get a Twitter account you better believe you’ll hear about it here first haha.

Reps for Jared Padalecki confirm to us exclusively that the rumors are true, and he is engaged to marry former Supernatural costar Genevieve Cortese.
Padalecki plays Sam Winchester on the CW’s cult-hit series about a pair of demon-hunting brothers on a destiny run; Cortese appeared on the fourth season of the series as the second embodiment of the comely but eeeevil demon Ruby. (Melrose Place star Katie Cassidy played Ruby’s first iteration.)

So how did this happen, and when’s the big day?

The couple, whose characters shared some superhot sex scenes and a dysfunctional but intense relationship during their time together on the show, have been dating very, very stealthily.

Padalecki’s reps declined to confirm Internet reports of a late-winter wedding date. Jensen Ackles, who plays Padalecki’s onscreen older brother Dean Winchester, got engaged in fall 2009 to Danneel Harris.
